Our first full day of activities!

After a breakfast of bacon, mushroom, veggie sausages or cereal we hit the PGL activities in our teams. All of our Lydiard teams today have done raft building, the giant swing, trapeze and abseiling (someone had a long chat with Mr George about the difference between abseiling and zip wire after he said that they were  ‘basically the same thing’).

Green team’s highlights has been watching each other’s expressions on the giant swing – Mrs Morrison is sure that she left her stomach behind somewhere!

Yellow team’s highlights has been abseiling because everyone conquered their fears and raft building because everybody learned the knots really quickly.

Mr George has tried to cop out of a highlight because ‘they were all excellent’. When pressed for a real answer, the blue team highlight has been an amazing raft building session with some excellent team work and a couple of dips in the pond!

We’ve had an excellent dinner (lasagne, vegetable kiev or chicken nuggets), have visited the shop (this year’s favourites are millions and squeezy toys) and are now preparing for Ambush – an action packed game of hide and seek in the dark!

There’ll be a final update tonight, with photos, when Mr George has found some decent wi-fi!
